STARS Technical Assistance Coordinator
The Capital Area Early Childhood Training Institute (CAECTI) serves as the STARS Technical Assistance Coordinator for the South Central Region, which includes the 7 counties of Dauphin, Cumberland, Lancaster, Lebanon, York, Franklin and Adams. As the regional STARS TA organization, CAECTI provides consultation services to child care providers in this region that have been accepted as participants in the Keystone Stars Program and have a STAR One designation. By completing a simple request form, Keystone STARS programs - child care centers, group homes and family day cares - may be eligible to receive consultation services in support of their successful achievement of a higher star rating. Consultation services can include assistance in completing PDR’s and the FTPD form, along with guided practice sessions in ERS assessments. STARS Technical Assistance services are available at no cost to child care providers participating in the Keystone Stars Program. Please contact Kathy Stennett at 717 236-6108 or by email at kes21@psu.edu to receive a TA Request form and more information. Or click here for the Technical Assistance form.
CAECTI is also your Professional Development Coordinator for the South Central Region. Please contact Kathy Stennett at 717 236-6108 or by email at kes21@psu.edu if your program has not received a copy of the Spring 2006 Training Calendar.
